How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
And how can they preach unless they are sent?
As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet
of those who bring good news!"

Romans 10:14-15

South Attleboro Assembly of God is a church with a heart for missions. Through our Faith Promise giving, we support missionaries from Angola to Zimbabwe as well as those serving the inner cities and college campuses right here in America. Many of our church family have put feet to their faith as they have gone forth to the mission field in such places as Thailand, West Africa, El Salvador and Mexico. We have those in our body who have retired from a lifetime of service on the mission field.

Each year, SAAG sponsors at least two missions trips...one for adults during the winter months and a youth missions trip in the summer. We recently completed a five-year commitment to Las Delicias, El Salvador where, in addition to ministering to the people there, the team built a school and a medical facility. They also excavated a well to provide the facility with fresh water. Currently we are partnering with Latin America Child Care to minister to the children of San Francisco de Marcoris in the Dominican Republic and to build a school there as well.

In January, 2006 a team traveled to the Gulf Coast to help rebuild churches in the areas devastated by Huricane Katrina. By 2008, we hope to have teams ministering in Africa, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and one in the US - all within the same year. During the 2006 -2007 fiscal year the total of our foreign missions giving will exceed $150,000.

The head of the South Attleboro Assembly of God Missions Department is Donald Savastano. Click here to email Don. We are thankful to Don and to his faithful committee: Eric Delong, Wendy Hayward, Kristen Montag, Rebekah Nichols, and Rhoda Pearce.
